My Halloween Movie Top 10!
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays as we all know but their are so many GREAT Halloween movies! In this blog I will be counting down my top 10 favorite Halloween movies and why!
10. Sleepy Hollow
Sleepy Hollow is such a legendary story. I remember reading the book back in middle school and just finishing it so intriguing to read. This is more of a fictional tale of a historical place is New York but I easily find it a halloween classic.
9. The Little Vampire
Disney’s The Little Vampire is such a sweet heart film because of Tony’s fascination with vampires. It is such a great movie of friendship and early DCOM’s were always the best!
8. Corpse Bride
Anytime Johnny Depp and Tim Burton collab we know it is going to be a hit! We can all agree this twisted classic should be on everyone‘s Halloween favorit list!
7. The Haunted Mansion
The Haunted Mansion is just an amazing film. It has great acting and an overall great production, especially Eddie Murphy just killed the role. This movie has so many great moments of horror, sad, and humor. This was actually one of the movies I was scared of as a child.
6. The Nightmare before Christmas
I truly believe this is one of Tim Burtons best movies. I love this movie cause it is relatable from Oct 1-Dec 25. It is such a classic and family fun movie.
5. The Addams Family
The most well known family ever, the Addams Family! We can all agree that their creepy cold vibe is the definition of Halloween. This 90’s film remains a 21st century legend.
4. Halloweentown High
Halloweentown High was always one of my favorites growing up. High school movies were always my favorite and still are today. this witch does not come to play!
3. Return to Halloweentown
Return to Halloweentown was the end of one if Disney’s greatest series. It was one of those movies no one knew we needed. The girl power in this movie was phenomenal.
2. Girl VS Monster
Girl Vs Monster is so underrated. It is one of my favs because the moral behind it. It teaches to have no fear. This movie has great music, great acting and above all such a good message to it. Your monsters only take form when you fear them because that’s what they want which is very relavant in real life as well.
1. Hocus Pocus
Hocus Pocus. The GOAT. The OG. My all time favorite and yours too I’m sure. Who doesn’t love the crazy, cooky Sanderson sisters!? This fictional story line took the Salem witch trials and made it into a fun family movies with singing, romance, and comedy. Be careful thought Winnifred will y’all for her “ BoOoOoOoOk” and put a spell on you.
